Hello and thanks for calling by,
We are a fun-loving outdoors group with an emphasis on cycling, hiking, camping etc., along with monthly social activities. As a group, we go abroad as well as on a short break holiday once a year. We WELCOME NEW MEMBERS from Lancashire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Manchester surrounds. Of course socialising is an integral part of all our events with many walks ending at tea shops or pubs. We are open to people of mixed fitness levels and you don't need to be able to read a map! Have a look at our Diary page for a quick view of up and coming events. Check our forum for impromptu meets. Feel free to come to one of our events and meet up with some of our members. Hopefully, you will want to come again and again.
All walks and activities are undertaken at the individual's own risk and we recommend our members take out adequate insurance to protect themselves in case of accident. You will need good walking boots for most of our walks and adequate warm clothing and rainproof gear is also recommended. You should always bring a packed lunch and enough liquids including a flask in colder weather. Of course if the walk is one of our "Pub lunch walks" we will let you know in advance to save on carrying lunch.
If you wish to contact us, please use the email link on the Membership application page of this website, or, join us at our of our scheduled events.
We hope to see you soon.
Have fun!
